It was about 25 years ago when my fly fishing adventure has started. I still remember my first bamboo rood with very thick fishing line ending by some fly I bought in the shop. Unfortunately in that time flies were not efficient and quite expensive. I decided to start tying flies for me. After while I realized that it became to be a pleasure to catch a fish using my own flies. Some day I was asked by some fisherman I met fishing, to tie flies for him. I did it and few days after he won some competition. From that moment I have been tying flies for Polish competitors who have had many successes in international fly fishing championships. Then I was asked to become fly designer for Fulling Mill.
All my patterns are tied on barbless hooks. In my opionion as well as in opinion of leading fly fishing champions from Poland, KNAPEK barbless hooks are one of the best on the market wright now. From this reason around two years ago I have started close cooperation with KNAPEK company making world class barbless hooks. Knapek become my main supplier of hooks for competitors but not only. Those hooks have been a SECRET of the Czech and Polish National Teams for a quite long time and played a large part in the huge success of these National Teams.
I don't tie flies one can find in catalogues. I have our own unique patterns, my own ideas, my own imagination and passion…
